Shriya is the daughter of a former Indian cricketer
Shriya Reddy's journey into cinema has been quite fascinating. Born on November 28, 1982, she hails from a distinguished sporting background. She is the daughter of former Indian Test cricketer Bharath Reddy. Bharath Reddy played several international matches for the Indian cricket team between 1978 and 1981 and was considered one of India's premier wicketkeepers. Furthermore, after retiring from cricket, he coached renowned Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik during his early days.
Making a mark as Radha Rama Mannar in Salaar
. Previously, she played the character of Radha Rama Mannar in Prashanth Neel's blockbuster film Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, which grossed over Rs 600 crore. Her commanding performance as Prithviraj Sukumaran's sister drew comparisons to the character of Sivagami Devi, played by Ramya Krishnan, in the blockbuster Baahubali.
