HyderabadOwaisi inquiries Opposition gathering in PatnaAsaduddin Owaisi, the head of AIMIM, criticized the opposition gathering in Patna on Friday, June 23, and demanded to see the "track record" of the leaders gathered in Bihar today, including those from the Congress.
Owaisi questioned whether the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had won two elections at the Cente "because of Congress."
The head of AIMIM emphasized that he wants to prevent Prime Minister Narendra Modi from winning the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and mentioned that efforts will be made in this regard. Nevertheless, he questioned the Patna meeting, which he claimed was an attempt by the opposition parties to unite different parties and create a platform to form an alliance against the BJP.
Owaisi inquiries Kumar NitishThe head of AIMIM criticized Nitish Kumar, who took the initiative to unite the opposition parties and whose house hosted today's meeting. He also questioned Kumar's frequent shifting from the BJP to the "mahagathbandhan" (grand alliance), back to the BJP, and back to the grand alliance last year.
"We do not want Mr. Narendra Modi to lead the nation as prime minister once more in 2024. And we'll use whatever resources are available to achieve that. However, what is the history of all these political leaders who have gathered in Patna for this specific meeting? Isn't it true that the BJP returned to power twice as a result of the Congress? When Godhra occurred, wasn't Nitish Kumas the railway minister? Additionally, he remained a member of the BJP at the time of the genocide in Gujarat. Because of his partnership with the BJP, he was appointed chief minister. At a press conference, Owaisi stated, "He left the BJP, formed Mahagathbandhan, became chief minister, left them again, joined the BJP, and now left them again."
Owaisi criticizes Kejriwal and UddhavHe questioned whether the Uddhav faction of the Shiv Sena had turned into a "secular party."
"Is Shiv Sena now a secular party? In the Maharashtra Assembly, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray declared, "Yes, we are proud of demolishing Babari Masjid." When Article 370 was unconstitutionally removed from Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi CM backed the BJP, according to the AIMIM chief.
In response to a question concerning the opposition candidate who might challenge PM Modi in the upcoming general elections, Owaisi stated that it is more important to run against the BJP in every seat rather than announcing the prime ministerial candidate.
"540 Lok Sabha seats ought to be contested against Narendra Modi. The BJP would gain if you revealed the faces," he declared.
