Tehran:Iran once again attacked Trump's claims that he could end the war in the Middle East and that its leadership and military had been completely destroyed. Tehran said on Thursday that the war would go on until the US faces "permanent humiliation."
The Iranian military told Trump that there would be more fighting until the US experienced what they called "lasting humiliation, regret, and surrender."
Tehran's response came after Trump's speech to the country, in which he said that Iran's Navy and Air Force had been greatly weakened and that its leadership structure had suffered major setbacks.
A spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters told Iranian state broadcaster Press TV that the US claims about damage to Iran's military infrastructure are not true because US intelligence on Iran's capabilities is still "incomplete."
The US doesn't give Iran enough credit for what it can do.The spokesperson said that Washington doesn't understand the "vast strategic capabilities" of the Islamic Republic and that Tehran's ability to use missiles and drones has not been greatly limited during the conflict.
"You don't know everything there is to know about our military power and equipment. You don't know anything about our many strategic abilities. "Don't think you've destroyed our strategic missile production sites, long-range attack and precision drones, modern air defense systems, electronic warfare, or specialized equipment," the spokesperson said.
These kinds of assumptions will only make the mess you're in worse. The places you think you've hit aren't important; our strategic military production takes place in places you don't know about and can't reach. "Don't try to count our missiles, drones, and strategic systems; you'll be wrong and get nothing," the spokesperson said, according to Press TV.
The Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters is Iran's highest operational command unit. It coordinates joint operations between the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the national army.
The spokesperson also said that the US started the war and promised to keep fighting back.
"You must pay for the violence you started against our honorable and beloved Muslim nation. This war will go on until you are humiliated, regretful, and give up. He said, "Expect more crushing and devastating strikes as a continuation of the severe blows already inflicted," according to Press TV.
Trump says he beat IranThe comments came after Donald Trump's speech, which he gave after the fighting started in late February. In it, he praised the US military for what he called a "decisive" blow to Iran and said that the main goals of the campaign were almost met.
Trump said that Iran's navy and air force had been systematically destroyed and that its military infrastructure as a whole had been severely weakened.
"Iran's navy is gone, its air force is in ruins, and most of its leaders, who were terrorists, are now dead," he said.
