Dogra's evolution over timeThe veteran's domestic circuit career demonstrates both leadership and flexibility. In 2001, he joined Himachal Pradesh, playing in 95 Ranji matches and scoring over 6,400 runs, including 24 fifties and 19 hundreds. A new chapter began in 2018 when he moved to Puducherry, where he added 11 hundreds over five seasons and became the team's first Ranji centurion. He assumed leadership of Jammu and Kashmir prior to the 2024–25 season, leading them to their first-ever semi-final appearance.
He is currently J-K's second-leading scorer and has nearly reached the 500-run milestone this season. He still has a voracious appetite for big scores. With 33 Ranji hundreds, Dogra leads all active players in scoring and is second only to Jaffer's 40 total. With nine, he shares the competition's record for the most double hundreds.
Dogra has amassed more than 15,000 runs and 40 hundreds in domestic formats. Despite his impressive stats, he only had four First-Class appearances for North Zone and one India A match to his name at the international level. However, his legacy now stands among the very best in the Ranji arena.
