Delhi, New Delhi:The father of veteran screenwriter Salim Khan was brought to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital. A health update was provided by hospital physician Dr. Jalil Parkar. According to him, Salim Khan had a very minor brain hemorrhage, for which a simple procedure known as "DSA" was carried out. He didn't need any surgery because the procedure was successful.
"Salim Khan is on a ventilator at the moment. By today or tomorrow, he should be off the ventilator. Even by your (journalists') standards, he is extremely fit. At 8:30 a.m. yesterday, he was brought here. He has been kept on a ventilator in the intensive care unit as a precaution," the physician said.
