New Delhi:People are talking about the Rs 4,000 crore movie Ramayana all over the place. A few days ago, the first look at the movie came out. The movie is being made on a very large scale. Ramayana stars Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Kannada actor Yash, who became a pan-India star in 2022, is also in the movie.

When Yash made a movie that cost more than Rs 1000 crore in 2022
The whole Indian film industry was shocked when KGF: Chapter 2 came out on April 14, 2022. Prashanth Neel directed this Kannada movie, which was full of great action scenes and Yash's (as Rocky Bhai) powerful performance. Sanjay Dutt's scary character also added to the movie's appeal. When it came out, it was the most expensive Kannada movie ever made, with a budget of Rs 100 crore. The movie was dubbed into Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu, making it a hit all over India. The movie lasts for 2 hours and 46 minutes.
The problems that the KGF sequel has to deal with
The release date for KGF: Chapter 2 was pushed back several times. It was first set to come out on Dussehra 2020. Then came July 2021, but the COVID-19 pandemic messed everything up. It finally came out on April 14, 2022. The Karnataka Anti-Tobacco Cell sent notices to Yash, producer Vijay Kiragandur, and Prashanth Neel while the movie was being filmed because the anti-smoking warning wasn't shown during Yash's smoking scenes.
The storm at the box office
On its first day, KGF: Chapter 2 made more than Rs 134 crore in India. The Hindi version alone made Rs 53โ54 crore, setting a new record. In just two days, it made more money than Chapter 1 did in its whole life. It made between Rs 1,200 and Rs 1,250 crore worldwide, making it the third highest-grossing Indian film of all time. It was also the first Kannada movie to come out in IMAX.
