New Delhi:Vikas Gupta, who is reacting to the trolling surrounding her ongoing feud with Shilpa Shinde, said, “Don’t spread hate in my name. Days after her public spat with Shilpa made headlines, the actor posted a note on Instagram on Monday. The row started when Shilpa confessed that the case of sexual harassment she filed against Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain producer Sanjay Kohli was false. The admission drew a strong backlash online with Hina also slamming Shilpa’s comments. Fans of both actors clashed on social media, with Hina coming in with a message asking people to be more conscious.

Hina, taking to her instagram story, wrote, “We all make mistakes and we all evolve with time.. I read some tweets here and thr.. I have always chosen kindness, love and humanity over hatred. If you are my fan and well wisher..I request you to do same with firmness and clarity."

So what’s the big deal?
For the unversed, Hina and Shilpa had a complicated equation since their Bigg Boss 11 days. The two used to be at loggerheads quite often. That rivalry is back in the spotlight after the latest spat.
Hina criticized Shilpa’s confession on X, to which Shilpa replied on Instagram with videos, where she first requested people to stay out of her personal matters. In a more recent video, she seemed to take a dig at Hina’s personal struggles including her battle with breast cancer and the death of her father. “Shilpa suggested Hina should concentrate on her own life and the criticism could finally hurt her.
The controversy dates back to 2016 when Shilpa quit Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai following a fallout with the makers. She had also alleged that she was being mentally harassed on the set and accused producer Sanjay Kohli of sexual harassment. Years later her admission that the allegations were false has sparked renewed debate and criticism from several members of the television industry.
