Chinese romantic drama The Early Spring continues to attract attention on Netflix as it moves closer to the end of its run. The series, starring Jing Boran and Sun Qian, has remained among the platform’s trending titles in India, competing with shows such as Musafir Cafe, India’s Got Latent and Operation Safed Sagar.
The show has also found viewers outside India. According to the streaming service’s global rankings, the Early Spring debuted at No. 2 on Netflix’s Global Non-English TV list for the week of August 24 to 30. It had 2.4 million views and 21.5 million hours watched for the week.
The Early Spring stays ahead of Musafir Cafe
The show has been in the Top 10 rankings on Netflix India since its release. The Early Spring was ranked fifth and Musafir Cafe sixth on the September 9 daily chart. Still, the series has managed to hold its own, sharing the chart with a couple of well-established and recently released titles. Other shows that featured high on the Netflix India list were India’s Got Latent, Operation Safed Sagar.
The drama is coming to its final episodes in its 24-episode run, and has been doing steady business. The show has been releasing episodes in pieces, allowing viewers to follow the story week by week, instead of the entire season being dumped at once.

IMDB also received a good response for the show. Now with its current rating at around 8.5/10 (latest available ratings), it is adding to the attention surrounding the series as it enters its final stretch.
