Jai Jai Ram By Dr. Kumar Vishwas

Dr Kumar Vishwas, talking about the song, explained the thought behind the lyrics of the song. "The three words are a simple prayer," he said, and the idea was not to describe Shri Ram but to communicate the relationship between a devotee and the divine.

Jai Jai Ram are just three simple words, but they are a whole prayer. “While writing the song my endeavor was not to describe Shri Ram, because his meaning cannot be contained in words, but to express the relationship every devotee shares with him: as our guide, our strength and our refuge,” he said.

The language, he added, was deliberately kept simple and direct, for true devotion does not need adornment. “And I hope that when people listen to the song, they do not just listen to it, but find their own prayer in it,” added Dr Kumar Vishwas.
