New Delhi:Ram Charan’s Peddi released in theaters worldwide on Thursday, June 4, 2026. With Ram Charan having a huge fan following not just in India but also across the globe, the film opened with a strong audience interest.
The sports drama has been appreciated by fans with several of them praising Ram Charan’s performance. But it also reflects in the box office numbers of Peddi as it crossed Rs 150 crore mark worldwide within just two days of its release.
Peddi Business on Day 2 Box Office Collections Worldwide
Industry tracker Sacnilk said Peddi has so far grossed Rs 150.49 crore worldwide. On Day 2, the film earned Rs 8 crore overseas, taking its total overseas gross collection to Rs 36 crore.

Paid previews on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, fetched Peddi Rs 18.50 crore while the film went on to collect Rs 51 crore on its opening day on Thursday, June 4. The film has now earned a total of Rs 69.50 crore. But the film dropped almost 50% on its second day, collecting Rs 26.90 crore in 10,113 shows. With this, its total India net collection has crossed Rs 96.40 crore.
Peddi director apologises for Janhvi Kapoor scenes
The film also faced backlash on social media over some scenes featuring Janhvi Kapoor. Writer-director Buchi Babu Sana responded to it and apologised to fans on X on Saturday. He said it was never the intention of the team to objectify or disrespect any female character.
The filmmaker also disclosed that they have decided to alter the concerned parts of the film after the feedback. Have a look below:
