In his first public appearance since the postponement of his wedding to a cricket player, filmmaker Palaash Muchhal was seen at the airport. He is seen ignoring the paparazzi while accompanied by his mother and security guards in the now-viral video.

For those who don't know, Palaash Muchhal and Smriti Mandhana were scheduled to tie the knot in Maharashtra on Sunday, November 23, 2025. However, the cricket player's father's health caused the wedding to be postponed.

"Today in the morning, when Smriti's father was having breakfast, his health deteriorated. We waited for a bit, thinking he would get fine. But when it deteriorated further, we called for an ambulance and took him to the hospital, and he is under observation," Tuhin Mishra, Smriti Mandhana's manager, told the media in announcing the postponement.

"Smriti is very close to her father. She has decided that the marriage will be indefinitely postponed until he gets well. Her father is under observation and the doctor has told that he will have to stay in hospital until he recovers. Smriti is clear, she wants to see her father well and then get married," he continued.
